Feedspot now supports “notification” feature. For those who are new to this term, here is a quick overview of this feature.

While you browse your news feed, whenever new articles are published  it will show a notification bar that says ‘X New Stories’ as shown in the screenshot below. The screenshot below shows '8 new Stories’ - , meaning, 8 new stories were published since you last refreshed your news feed. When you click on the notification bar, it expands the content of those 8 articles. You need not refresh the page to look for new articles.

Notification in browser tab - It also shows a notification alert, ’(8)’ in the screenshot below, in your browser tab. This helps if you are working in some other tab.
